Top Commentor Monthly Giveaway

It has been a while now since If Only I Had It came into existence. It is exactly one year old now. This gadgets blog has attracted techies from all around the world. More and more people each day are adding up to the amount daily readers.
I would like to thank all my readers from all over the world for helping me make this blog a success. We have more than 1000 readers a day on this blog right now. But there is a slight problem. We only have very few commentors.
To make things more challenging and to bring this blog to a new height, I am now giving away USD 50 a month to the top commentor and USD 25 to the runner up. They are allowed to use this money for whatever reasons they want as the money will be transferred using PayPal.
The comments does not require any certain lenghts of words but will require that the comments be genuine. Any comments that are repeated or copied from another commentor will not be calculated. This small monthly giveaway will commence immediately and the giveaway will be done every 30 th of the month. This competition is for one entire year ending December 1st 2009.

Don’t you have the “top commentators plugin” installed?? Its gonna be hard to do this without knowing where you stand.
No.. The Top Commentator plugin will not be installed on this blog at the time being. This is to make it fair to those viewers that come here on a regular basis and not one of the readers that comes in only at the end of the month and start bombarding the blogs with comments .. A list of the Top Ten Commentators will be announced at the end of every month with links to their websites or blogs as well.. Regards ..

by the way does commenting on old posts count? I hope your blog will be more sucessful with this kind of competition going on 
comments will be counted on any posts whether old or new .. at the moment I am not doing any updates of posts till the 4th of December as I am advertising this promotion on multiple websites / forums / etc.
as long as you comment on any post and only after the 29th of December then your comments will be taken into consideration.. Do comment on multiple posts .. one of the trick i would recommend is that you asks questions and when I answer them you may be able to post another comment on the same post .. This will allow 2 comments to be registered on one post ..

I used to comment here quite a lot till the hacking that happened I think in September .. I guess you kinda lost like nearly 100 posts since then .. Always back up your data … Anyway it seems it is time for me to start commenting again
Hmm …offering incentives is a great way to both reward regular posters and encourage new ones …such as myself
