I have recently been very busy resigning new contracts and making sure that I am able to keep on posting new stuff for you guys. Doing this alone has taken up most of my time. But recently as well I found out that MotherCare and ELC is having fantastic sales. So what else can I do but head down to their store at KLCC to see what they have to offer.
The first thing that I see is the store is filled with parents bustling about with their children. Early Learning Centre has the safest of toys when it comes to children educational toys and learning paths. This time around their sales is all the way from 10% to 70% on selected items. I had a budget to work with thus I started getting busy.
At the front of the store before entering it low and behold is an easel where a child could actually spend hours writing on a blackboard if not just turn it over and it becomes a whiteboard. Well there are also clips for you to insert paper which your child is also able to scribble on. Allowing your child’s imaginations to run wild at the same time honing into their art skills. This was the first on my list. I have seen many of these but at ELC it is perfect with all the essentials you require even space to put their crayons, color pencils and even chalks. It is made of durable plastic and at the same time the weight is just right to make sure it does not flip over and if it does it wont hurt your child that bad.
I kept on hunting for bargains.
They had a huge selection of toys to choose from. Some which are very interesting for younger ones and some for the older ones. But what really caught my eyes this time around is the HappyLand toys. They come in separate sets but all you have to do is keep buying the different sets and lo and behold they become a huge set entirely. ELC does have many of these type of toys and one of them is the Car Garage set which I will be telling you about in another post soon.
I was particularly interested in this elves. Oh did I forget to tell you that HappyLand has a few types of stories behind it. Well the staff at ELC was kind enough to explain to me when I choose this elves figurines that a child is able to build his or her imagine based on story sets by combining different toys from the HappyLand range.
This is the FairyLand Bluebell Boot which houses the fairies. I met with a parent that told me her daughter spends hours playing with just this one toy alone. It is amazing how a child can have an imagination that captures them hours on ends with just one toy.
This is the Fairyland Wobble Along Hedgehog. A very simple toy which combined with the BlueBell Boot above creates a means to transportation for the Fairies.
Dont like hedgehogs then you can choose this FairyLand Toadstool Car as a transportation means instead. If not you could choose both. I went with both.
Is the BlueBell Boot enough to house an entire community of fairies ? Well Here is the Windmill Farm Set which allows you to start creating a community of fairies.
This is the Fairy Toadstool Cottage to house a smaller family of fairies. Do notice that I have also taken into consideration to allow you to see the discounts that they are currently having for these sets as well.
No fairy tale is complete without a FairyTale Palace and what do you know here you also can get yourself the palace together with the King and Queen Fairies to come together with it. Aren’t you excited yet. Well I know that I am. Hmm.. Kinda feeling that I should not have told you all that.
This might not come from the Fairy tale series but her since the color is rite and it is all up to your child’s imagination then why not. This is the Cherry Lane Cottage.
A child’s imagination can go by itself with just having the sets above if not by just having one of it. But ELC has thought about everything here and the picture above is a background to set your entire Fairy Village with. This mat can also double up to become a box once you have finished playing to keep your Fairy toys.
Well I think I went crazy just with these toys. But I remember I did mention that I had a budget to spend right ? Well due to the incredible sales that MotherCare was having together with ELC the budget was not even close to breaking yet. So what else do I do but just go next door which is where MotherCare is located.
Instead of showing you pictures of bargain hunters that might not like their pictures being taken here is a picture of prams parked outside of MotherCare KLCC. These are just parents that did not want to bring their prams into the premise. There were more parents who just brought their prams in with their children. MotherCare is known among parents to be the best outlet in regards to anything Children. Well my budget ended here. Below are a few photographs of some clothes that were purchased with the balance of my budget.
And guess who came with me to MotherCare that benefited the most. It is with love and joy that you spend money on a child and you would want to give the child the best that you can.
Budget allocated before arriving at Mothercare & ELC ( RM 1500 )
Budget spent after leaving MotherCare & ELC ( RM 1557 )
Value in total after calculating Discount ( RM 3000 )
Love and joy after spending and getting discounts ( Priceless )
