Acabion GTBO - a jet-fighter-shaped vehicle has claimed the title of world’s fastest road vehicle. Acabion GTBO can reach 300 mph within 30 seconds only and its top speed is 340 mph. This vehicle is considered as the fusion of a four wheeler. On each side of the rear wheel are two mini wheels. The creator of this two wheeler calls it a “road streamliner”.

The body of this super fast vehicle is shaped like a jet figther. Basically the entire design is taking from aerodynamic techniques used in aerospace design, such as the cockpit is designed like one found in jet plane. The GTBO is about 90mph quicker than its nearesr rival, the Bugatti Veyron, which needs 55 seconds to pick up to its top speed, 250mph.

The GTBO carries an astonishing 800 brake horsepower in its 1,300cc turbo-charged engine. And it amazingly weighs just 700lbs, which is only half the weight of an original Mini. Having light weight body is definitely part of the purposes to maximize its power and to be aerodymanically efficient.

The creator of this super fast vehicle is a German, Dr Peter Maskus, who is an ex-Porsche engineer. But it seems like it will take about three years to hit the roads of UK and the USA. And somemore carrying a whopping price of £1.5million or $3 million.

This site is da bomb. I have never seen a more comprehensive site that sells multiple financial products at the same time give so much of services away for free. Their service so far to me is great as I have just signed up with them and used 3 of their services. Simple to use and navigate through their site. Being a banker myself and an internet junkie if I were ever to create a website on financial products and try to sell some myself this site would be a first point of reference for me.

Lets give a few examples here so that you might understand this site better. Lets say you are thingking of getting credit cards for your personal or corporate use. There are so many to choose from and most of the time consumers pick whichever the banker tells them is the best. Not finding out for yourself the benefits and also the bad parts of the credit facilities might really be a hassle. Lets say you were thinking of purchasing something that is really expensive. Some credit card offers you to purchase them at 0% installment plans. This means that you are able to purchase that product and pay a certain amount every month for the time limit you chose for no interest at all. Isnt that great. If the product was USD 10,000 and you took 12 months to pay for it and the interest per year is 18% you would have paid about USD 1800 more for the product if you did not have this service. This is only a rough calculation. If you really calculate the monthly rest basis you would still pay lesser but why pay any interest at all when you can get it for nothing more.

Everyone purchases properties at least once in their life. When you purchase a property you would need to also get an insurance for it. Home insurance quotes could also be gotten from this site. In fact not all insurance for properties are the same. Some might only insure your property and not the things inside of it. Or maybe just the basic unit and not your renovation part. Sometimes this could really be a pain in the arse but with this site it is a breeze.

There are so many products that I could talk about here that this site has but I am going to limit myself to this last product. Car Insurance is something that you must get especially if you are leaving in downtown Manhattan. Car robberies and accidents happens every hour. But dont you know that you are able to save a lot of money on car insurance. Find out more from this site.

trev-three-wheeled-green-car-meant-for-urban-trips-only-230108.jpg

Trev is a three-wheeled environmentally friendly car, a product out of several years of effort by the students at the University of South Australia. Trev is ideal as a commuter vehicle. It consumes only 1/5 of the energy required by a conventional car, which relies on electricity as the only power source. Trev weighs only 595 pounds, has two seats only and can drive up to 93 city miles without having to be recharged.

Trev is equipped with only two seats as it’s meant for urban use, as most urban trips are made with one or two people in the car. The top speed of the Trev is only 75 MPH, which seems to be pretty limited for urban trips. Anyway, it’s still a prototype, which still has couple of rooms for improvement.

I hope that this car really gets into the market and fast. It looks so cool and especially the fact that it is Green is such a crowd attraction that it will surely give me some girls :0 .. Man I have goosebumps thinking about it already.

Making of Moller M400 SkyCar at risk of being discontinued?
When I first heard of flying car, I knew that it wouldn’t be that easy to build one, and finally we wouldn’t get any solid one in the market. How many times, we’ve heard the delay or uncertainty of release of these flying vehicles before?

Moller International Inc., a company that is developing the flying car, Moller M400 SkyCar, seems to be in a financial deep shit that will jeopardize the completion of their M400 flying car. The company nows has run up more than $40.5 million in accumulated deficits. They have even auctioned the M400 prototype on eBay with a 3.5 million dollar minimum bid, hoping to generate some money for its debts.

The M400 is a flying car that relies on a computer controlled autopilot, and 8 new rotary engines which rotate for a change in axis of flight from forward to hover. Behind all these great engines and system, what you need is a strong financial support.

The company is now desperately looking for other sources of funds or loans. In the event that the company fails to source such funds or loans, the M400 will most likely be discontinued!

Solar-powered tire gauge
Don’t you know that you have to take a regular check of your car’s tires to make sure they’re all fit to run on the road? This can save you your life, a consistent check to avoid unnecessary accident that would happen due to your car’s tires have gone flat. I know for some lazy guys, even you have digital tire gauge chucked in your tool box, you wouldn’t wanna take a regular check using it. Whenever your significant other asks you to take a check, you’d probably say the tire gauge had run out of batteries.

Here comes the eco-friendly solar powered tire gauge, comes equipped with an LCD display, which lets you easily check on your car’s tires and you have no excuse anymore to say that it’s run out of batteries. Just bring it under the sun, the gadget’s solar panel shall recharge its built in lithium batteries. On its LCD screen, you can easily select the pressure settings that you’re comfortable with, including Psi, Bar, Kpa, and Kg/cm2, to determine if it’s time to fill the tires up with more air.

Cars that Change Colors on the press of a button!!

My old car is going busted, and it’s time for us to seriously start thinking about buying a new car. So as we were browsing through some models online, we saw that the sleek-looking blacks or graphites and the metallic blues added a dent of another 1000 dollars to our pockets which are already falling apart!! And unfortunately, those are the only colors that catch your eyes, not the stark whites, right?? So I sat there wondering how much fun it would be if we could make cars that changed colors on our whim?? Pop-press a button, and my car turns grey; come sweltering summer and I’d press the button again to turn it into a soothing white…or much better, I can have a modern double-colored car with streaks - such that I’ve seen and dreamt about in 2 fast 2 Furious!!!

Looks like God wanted me to revel my dream, and at least be happy with the thought that something like my crazy idea could actually exist. Yup, Nissan, the renowned car-maker who’s trying hard to revamp it’s image and restore it’s lost glory is coming out with new ideas that would appeal to the nerdy and young crowd (like me and my readers!!) They were the ones who dreamed up the concept of “self-healing paint” some two years back, which was supposedly scratch-resistant, and they are now talking about “a paramagnetic concoction”, which enables motorists to change the color of their ride at the press of a button.

Is this just an idea, because we all have a lot of ideas…or is it for real?? Well, looks like it is real and the secret behind this is a special polymer containing paramagnetic iron oxide particles, which is applied to the car’s exterior. Then, by applying an electric current, the spacing of small crystals within the iron oxide particles can be adjusted, therefore affecting their ability to reflect light and change color. The catch (yeah, there’s always a catch!) once your engine is turned off, and there’s no current running, the charge is lost and the car turns to a default color (maybe white, maybe something else, it’s for them to decide)

If all goes well, Nissan expects to roll out these vehicles by early 2010. Though the concept is fascinating, and truly an innovation, I wonder what would happen when all parked/turned off Nissan cars would turn to the same default color…how do you identify your car? especially for people like my husband who never bother to memorize the number plate?? well, it sure will be more work for cops chasing people, as the latter could keep flipping their car colors at the whim of a button and confuse the cops!!! sounds funny, huh?!! The case of the color-changing Chameleon Car - wow, I sure am a born writer:)

So what say you? Does this sound interesting, disturbing, rubbish, stylish or hoax??

Drive your hotel with you - Hotel Movil

Man has already soared heights by inventing private jets and charter planes that are as luxurious as one can imagine. The seas are brimming with Yachts that host spectacular parties and huge Cruise ships which can treat you like royalty. What you saw in Titanic is probably 1/10th of what is out there.

And now, replacing RV’s, which till today were the best in terms of comfort and luxury on the road, comes the Spanish giant called Hotel Movil(photo courtesy of hotelmovil.com). Please welcome the first of its kind, a luxurious pop-up hotel
which is like a large truck trailer that can be dragged to any location and turned into a two level hotel within 30 minutes!! Yes, sounds too goo to be true, but not when you see this video. (Select fabrication, then video) A few clicks with your finger-tips, and this giant truck transforms into one of the most beautiful and lavish portable homes that you would have ever seen. After its 11 rooms are unfolded, the hotel on wheels can sleep up to forty people, making it roomy enough for wedding parties, family reunions or luxury camping trips with a large group of friends.

It is made of steel, but the interiors will leave you dumbfounded. Hotel Movil isn’t short on luxury: every room has a bathroom, plasma screen TV, DVD, internet access and more. Depending on the trailer’s configuration, a bar and movie screening room can also be included. You can have your private patio and balcony. The Price for a weekend rental is EUR 7,000. Alternatively, you can buy a hotel of your own for EUR 400,000. This sure is competitive with the cost of the RV’s at present, considering the functionality and luxury it offers. Now, is that an interesting innnovation or not??!!
