Presenting Sensaware by FedEx

fede
Its very surprising to find new methods to improve our medical organ donors. Yet a very fast move puts FedEx on the edge. It’ll be used first by the medical industry. Where price is apparently no issue. This sophisticated Sensaware tattletale isn’t that expensive but the technology FedEx is using can consider expensive as they are using one of these BlackBerry-sized sensors cost USD120 per-month. It’s packed with tech including a GPS receiver, accelerometer, cellular transmitter and a light sensor which allows its data can be accessed via the web.

Sensaware will be essential and useful for shipping donated organs and surgical supplies also showing doctors exactly when shipments will arrive so they can prepare on time for surgery.  Well the only thing we have to worry is the pirate donors.

car

Can this be ever made true in our commercial world? If it was true think how much it can be where we don’t need much money to spend on fuel or even maintains.

This invention was made possible by China’s Leon Zhu who came up with this innovative yet simple way to collect solar energy. The idea is to provide energy for the car’s electronic systems as well as air conditioning system. Hopefully fuel is somehow generated to move the car, save us millions. I have yet to research on this. May be later I will let you know about my findings.

Who knows someone like Wayne Szalinski is out there making it possible for us.

What an invention made by a Japanese guy? Hopefully governments from the entire world take this idea as an advantage.

streetl3

A street light powered by waste seems like a strange idea but if you think about the ratio between city trash and energy needs, things start to make sense.

streetl4

streetl5

This street light can composts any waste and uses the methane by-product as a fuel to power the lamps. The compost can then be retrieved to re-green our cities. A wonderful idea but how much trash can it take keep such a system going?

A whole new concept apart from other green buildings, I have ever seen. The CLOUD was present for action from an entirely new form of comment on something scrutinized deck to connect visitors from both the whole of London and the entire world.

lc2

Everyone from the entire world can be partly responsible for the Cloud, whether by visiting it or by promoting a LED, helping to keep the Olympic lamp aflame.

The looks like one of the 7 wonders of the world. Equivalent to Eiffel tower, Paris but upside down with lots of bubbles.

nanobatt

I was looking around at this site and I was amazed to find out about NanoBattery. They say that the first power management solution will be introduced to all portable electronics that combines dependability, extended life and safe disposal.

Consumers afford-ability, accessibility and security especially in emergency / life-or-death response situations. According engineering designs it is safe to disposal. Wow that’s great for mother earth. Then again, I don’t know much about this be but I believe thing will not last for a long hours. What do you think?

sleep

I came across this site and wish Malaysian airport can be equip with these kind of gadgets. Ah I would have spend my time wisely.  Sleeping of course.

This is why Russian architects Arch Group designed the Sleep Box. As you can see, it is like a min motel.  Oh, there’s no phone in it.

However, there is a bed in there, with sheets that are changed with a roller. It also has Wi-Fi, LCD display, and sockets for charging laptops, cell phones, or other mobile devices.  Hopefully there is some sort of alarm clock there, because I wouldn’t want to miss my flight.

The plan is for travelers to rent these Sleep Boxes for 15 minutes or for  several hours. At-least i know I wouldn’t  have a back pain when get up from the bench and getting on to my flight.
Well, this is still a concept for now, how sad. wish thats is true for many travels. I could easily see these Sleep Boxes in all international and domestic airports. If it ever does get implemented, I would be very concerned if its is misused. You know what I mean!

2-Way Robot Bear Companion

Many tech companies are trying to create the best robot companion of the future.

MIT is taking the same foot step, making another companion robot for you. This MIT’s robotic teddy bear is called Huggable™. It’s designed to be much more than a fun interactive robotic companion for the lonely geeks. It’s able to be involved as a team member, to participate in a social network to interact with others.

The Huggable is also packed with more hardware than any average bear, such as the entire body is all covered in touch/force/temperature sensors (about 1,500 sensors to be highly interactive). He’s also got cameras behind his eyes, a speaker in his nose, and servo motors etc.

Huggable is also capable of capturing those images, videos, sounds with its eyes and ears, and exchanges the signals with a centrally located server wirelessly for crunching those data.

An interesting feature of this Huggable bear is you can set one bear up and having another slave bear to imitate or reproduce the actions of the master bear. The slave bear copies all the movements of the master bear and a computer is able to tell you where and how the Huggable is being touched, and transmits live video and audio feeds.
