I was so happy to get my new iPhone 3GS with 32Gb white. If you believe it or not I was previously using the iPhone 3G 16Gb and had it for only about 3 days before the 3GS was launched in Malaysia and I was able to buy it.

The sad thing about the phone is that you have to purchase it from the mobile operator itself and it cant even be purchased from an Apple store. I had been using an iPhone since even since 2G days.

Of course there are Pro’s and Con’s on using the iPhone and I would like to let you know what I personally think about them.

Pro’s

1. It is the best PC in a pocket that you can have.

2. The applications that are available to you are great and numeruous.

3. The Apple iPod system is still the best MP3 player there is.

4. The touch screen and large display is the best I have experienced so far.

Con’s

1. The iPhone heats up very fast when it is being used.

2. The battery life just sucks especially when you are using the 3G system.

3. It crashes very often when it running low on memory.

4. You have to download tons of Apps just to keep the iPhone in great working condition.

5. The back casing scratches easily.

6. The casing cracks easily as well. ( Mine already has a crack at the mute control )

All in all there are more con’s compared to pro’s for the iPhone. Why then have I purchased 2 units. One for myself and one more for my wife? The iPhone in itself sells as a brand and will surely target the people who have to be up to date and brand savvy.

I am bickering a lot in regards to my iPhone but even so I am glad with it and wont replace it for any other.

Well I am just trying out to blog using my Iphone and the free wordpress application that can be found at the apple app store.

It kind of seems difficult to type compared to the normal laptop keyboards but I belive this would be good for on the go.

Incredibly the genius of the apple keyboard is that it finds the correct alphabet to make a word even though if you wrongly type it.

Let’s see how the picture uploading does in my next post.

Make Money By Blogging Your Heart Out

Many people have asked me how much do you make from blogging or do you make money blogging at all. The only thing I can tell them is go have a look at my blogs. Most of my blogs are only updated once a week. When I first started I blogged about 3 times a day. Now it is merely once a week and sometimes even once in two weeks.

The first time I started blogging I thought of it not only as a past time but also a way of making money. I thought that if I could make USD 20 a day per blog and I had 10 blogs it would make me USD 200 a day. Well I started of with 10 blogs being the greedy person I am.

Now 1 year don the road and I am only maintaining 6 blogs. I did not even start on the other 4. I made back my money on my first month blogging. Mind you I purchased 10 domains and I purchased 2 different hosting services. I made about USD 400 on my first month.

I was quite happy with this results. On my second month my page rank increased to PR 3 and above. And I made USD 600 from my second month onwards. I lost my pageranks on my fourth month. No idea why this happened although my viewership increased and I had more backlinks than ever.

I still made about USD 250 a month thereafter . Calculating on a yearly basis I made about USD 5,000 a year doing something I like whenever I feel like doing it. This is not bad for a starter I think. Most people tell m they make much more compared to what I make. But I tell them that I only spend one tenth of the time on all my blogs compared to them on one.

The easiest way of making money blogging is by Buy Reviews . Which is a website that I found out from my cousin Leslie. You can atually find his daughter’s blog on Charmaine Ho . I just noticed that even he did not update the blog since last year December.

Well I would say the best way of making money blogging could be done in so many ways.  I personally only use 3 of them. If you would like to know more write me some replies.

Wifi Vase

Weird but practical ? This is the type of gadget that I would love to have in my home. A wifi that doubles up as a vase. A good looking home ornament that does not stand out or make you look like a geek.

In fact it is a brilliant idea. A wireless router lets your family members surf the Internet through it. But when you leave it at one corner in your living room, it takes up a little space too. If it is just a squarish or awkward-looking box, it may make some eyes unpleasant.

Saudi Arabia based STC has turned their fully functioning wireless router into a vase for your flowers. And of course, to keep your flowers fresh, you have to fill up the “router vase” with water. Some might feel little uncomfortable with feeling up an electronic device with water. But it shall be made water-proof which spilling of water all over it is not an issue here.

“Ding- Dong” there goes the boring sound of the doorbell again. Might just be the neighbours kids playing a prank again. Well cant the doorbell be at least more interesting.

Here comes the bird shaped doorbell which serves as a good replacement for your existing door bell. If you have this installed on your door, you’ll hear the bird call chime. It’s in a shape of a bird, a sparrow, best recommended for the bird lovers, making it cute to greet someone at your door.

The doorbell comes with a 2W speaker that blasts the bird chime. It’s a wireless door bell which installation is super easy as you won’t get into the trouble of dangling wires, and double-sided stickers are ready at the back of it, just tear it off and stick it on. It also comes with a remote which lets you switch on and off its sound. The doorbell needs three AAA batteries, whereas the remote needs one.

I love my chessboard collection. It has been a while since I last saw a chess board that actually lights up. I cant remember the name of the last one. Although I remember that it was much better than this. But here is another chess set that glows for you.

The Glo Chess set by Adam Craft is a great design that earned him the distinction of winning the Student Design Contest held by Velco. This miniature chess set uses Conductive V30 VELCRO that causes each piece to light up as it comes in contact with the board. The travel board itself is battery powered and activates as soon as the board is opened, causing the contacts on each side to come in touch with one another.

This is surely a gadget that you should get as soon as possible if you are an iPod / iPhone lover. I just love my i’s .. Cant wait till I am able to get my hands on the Apple Air .

Assuming you’re not so drunk that you can’t stand, all you need to do is blow into iBreath for at least 5 seconds and 2 seconds later, it’ll let you know if you’re under the legal limit or not.

The number one reason I went to the LA Auto Show was to see exotic cars. I’m not a car nut, not really… I mean, my vehicle of choice (of choice, not necessity) is a 1994 Volvo 940 Wagon. Swedish turbo bricks FTW! But still, exotic cars get my juices flowing just as much as the next guy (or gal), and I spent a significant amount of time at the show doing silly things like measuring the size of the brakes on a Ferrari or repeatedly opening and closing the doors of a Lamborghini. They open UPWARDS, it’s SO COOL! Check out a bunch of pics from the show, after the jump… Click on Gallery to view all the cars..
