What will you be hoping to see at the CES 2009 ? There has been so much talk about the advancement of technology in just the past one year that the CES 2009 itself will be a mind blower. But here is a sneak peak at what Sony intends to bring to the CES 2009.
According to an inside source from Sony, two touchscreen walkmans will surface. They are a 16GB and 32GB models that will feature a 3-inch WQVGA AMOLED display with 10k:1 contrast, wide color gamut and viewing angle and set to reveal in the CES show at Vegas, January next year.
The walkmans will be Wifi enabled and supports the WEP and WPA. With wifi most probably the most exciting part is that you will be able to browse the internet sites such as YouTube for the latest downloads of music videos and explore the latest artists MTV’s.
These Sony walkmans will also support various audio codec including MP3, WMA, AAC, PCM, and also video codec including AVC (h.264), MPEG-4 and WMV. It’ll have a built-in FM radio. Equipped with digital noise canceling system and powerful S-Master digital amplifier to produce Hi-Fi quality audio. Price and availability have not been revealed yet.
Lenovo and China Mobile have finally come up with an android powered mobile phone. It is named the Ophone. Pictured above it looks very sleek and versatile. It runs on the China Mobile OMS ( Open Mobile System) which is its own modified version of Android operating system that is basically Android with added supports and applications for the TD-SCDMA – China’s home-grown 3G network.
China Mobile has been developing the OMS for quite some time. It is essential to have their own proprietary handset operating system in order to be dominance for the Chinese mobile phone market, so they could then gain better profit from it. The Ophone is certainly an advanced piece of equipment and I cant wait to get a hold of this gadget.
I have written about the Asus 525 before and it seems that now it is a very popular phone among the tech geeks like myself. I have been using the Asus 525 for quite a while now and I have loved it although I have used many other phones at the same time as well. I kept on coming back to the Asus 525. The stability. Ease of use. Its kinda big, heavy, sturdy built makes you feel that it is the ultimate handphone PDA at the time. Now it seems the age of the Asus 565 has come to dawn. Been looking at its specifications and wondering about its usefullness and difference compared to the 525.
Here is what I found and I would like you to comment on what do you feel about this phone. Should I get it. Should I spend money getting another Asus when I already have one that I like so much. Why doesnt Asus gives out review units. It would have been easier for me to tell you guys more.

The Comparison Video
I am actually very suprised with the Asus 536 performances. The video performance proves that the GPU driver is present and properly functioning using Windows Media Players. This allows users to enjoy uber-lag free music video on the go.
The JudgementI totally leave this up to you guys. I feel that I would love to have this new baby in my hands. Even if it is just for the sake of playing with it for a few days. But the decision is not mine to make. Asus would have to send me a unit to review if they want a proper review like the rest of the companies that reviews their stuff. For the time being I will be satisfied with my Asus 525.
Well it is not the norm for one blogger to admit that there are better bloggers out there in their niche. But here I am on my second year and I would like to say that YES there are better bloggers who make blogging more of a career or an intimate hobby compared to myself. One of these bloggers is no other that Ket Yung who has helped me numeruous a times on finding out more details about the blogging scene and how do I get myself noticed.
This guy and his blog has helped me in finding out the finer details on how to get a higher page rank as well as where to get information to be added as posts. Some of the posts that I have here on my blog you will notice them to be the same as his. This is due to the fact that sometimes when we search the World Wide Web for information on the latest gadgets we often find the same thing. Other times it is merely due to the fact that I have gone to his website and got the information from his blog because I was lazy to do my homework.
He posts about 4 to 5 posts a day and has never stopped doing it since the day I found out about his blog. I would like to say thank you KY for all the help and advice you have given me. Keep up the great work and lets hope one day my blog will be able to follow in your footsteps.
I have been most crazy about the iPhone since it came out. I have always been wondering how will it compare to the N96 or to the Samsung Omnia. Since it is not here in Malaysia yet I wont be allowed to comment on that. And since I wont be able to afford the iPhone I will either just have to wait till Apple sends me a test phone or I win it in a lottery or something ( both of which has a 0.01% of becoming reality) .
Searching for iPhone gadgets and the latest fashion of the iPhone’s is also another past time of mine ( shows how much I am into the iPhone) . Searching today I actually found a blog which featured this iPhone which is supposed to be the most expensive iPhone in existence.
The most expensive iPhone (Princess Plus) has a price tag of USD176,400 and is created by Austrian luxury designer and jeweler Peter Aloisson. There are 319 diamonds with 138 Princess cut (where the name of the iPhone was derived) and 180 brilliant cut. There is a total of 17.75 carats of diamond set in 18k white gold around its rim. The first customer is a Russian businessman who preordered it in October 2007. Surely y9ou can guess who this is as he has appeared on The Travel Channel quite a few times. He has also run for an election once if I remember this correctly. A lesser priced iPhone with only the brilliant cut diamonds can be purchased at a more modest price of USD66,150 if you can admit that this is a modest price.
This iPhone is surely out of my budget. Looks beautiful though. If I had the money this is the ultimate mobile phone that I would get for my wife. But hey the question is when I am able to spend this kind of money wont there be other mobile phones out there which also has a big price tag to it and looks great.
